RBI Data Privacy Policy

The University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE) take the privacy of your information very seriously. Our privacy policy explains how we will collect and use the information you give us. The word 'we' refers to University of the West of England unless otherwise stated. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the 1998 Data Protection Act.

Privacy policy

Within Research, Business and Innovation (RBI), from time to time you may be asked to submit information about yourself and/or your company (e.g. e-mail, personal address or a telephone number) in order that we may send information on our products and services and to ensure records containing personal information are accurate and current. This may be via email, phone, mail or newsletter. We may also use the information you provide for administration, marketing or analysis purposes.

When you submit any personal data you are thereby giving your consent for that data to be held and processed for the stated purpose(s). We will only share your details internally within the UWE. Should we at any time pass customer data to a third party we will write to you for notification/consent prior to doing so. We will act in accordance with current legislation and we will provide a link to our Data Protection Notice every time we invite you to submit personal information to us.
