Robotics and autonomous systems – focusing on the science, engineering and social role of robots and embedded intelligence, multidisciplinary approaches to creating autonomous devices, including energy autonomy, humanoid robots, swarm intelligence, biologically inspired robots and chemical brains. | Artificial intelligence – especially the development and application of adaptive computing techniques, evolutionary computation, data mining, adaptive control, image processing, and bioinformatics. | |
