How RELAYS can help

As we look forward to the London 2012 Games, the RELAYS project (Regional Educational Legacy for Arts & Youth Sport) will engage with and inspire young people and their communities in the South West. Through an exciting range of festivals, events, school-based activities and business support initiatives, RELAYS aims to raise aspirations by delivering an innovative and stimulating programme of activities.

Everyone can get involved in a whole host of events running throughout the region up to, including and beyond 2012. RELAYS events incorporate an eclectic mix of sport and cultural elements, ranging from film projects, competitions and festivals, to music and dance festivals, school sports events and business forums.

RELAYS also engages with businesses, encouraging organisations from across the South West to get involved with 2012 activity and benefit from networking events and professional development opportunities. This will also allow South West businesses the opportunity to engage with experts from the region's universities.
