Wesport Volunteer Programme

Wesport is the West of England Sport Trust which is a network of organisations across Bristol, Bath & NE Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset working collectively to increase, promote, support and celebrate lifelong participation in sport. A central part of Wesport's work will be develop the network of clubs in the West of England. This priority is backed by the National Governing Bodies of Sport.

Our approach will focus around:

• Creation of a clubs and facilities database.
• Creating & promoting links between our schools and the clubs operating in the sub-region.
• Providing opportunities for clubs to develop including opportunities for volunteers, coaches and administrative staff.
• Provide a range of resources to help development of the administration of clubs include a library of useful documents such as club constitutions.
• Work to raise the profile of the club network with the business community.
